We provide a turnkey outsourced accounting solution, or we can supplement the team you already have in place. Our team will work to develop a monthly or quarterly close process in compliance with US GAAP. We can also assist with non-recurring projects, such as due diligence on an acquisition, review of financial statements and footnotes or preparation of a technical memo, which are often burdensome to your current staff.

Financial Reporting and SEC Compliance

Our team has substantial experience with the reporting requirement of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP) and can efficiently assist with the drafting and updating of financial statements and footnotes for your Company (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, 1-A, C, SEC Comment Letters).

Matt Lourie

Founder & CEO

Matt has more than 20 years of professional accounting and auditing experience, with a focus on SEC reporting, assurance services and financial reporting consultation. In addition, Matt has extensive experience managing teams of professionals and has implemented programs including staff development, training, quality controls, human resources and information technology. Matt has served as CFO for public in private entities in a variety of industries. He also serves various non-profit organizations as Treasurer, Director and an Audit Committee member.

Matt is a graduate of the University of Houston where he earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting and his Masters of Science in Accounting in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Matt is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas, and is a member in good standing of the AICPA.

David Stephens

Director of Accounting

David has more than 20 years of financial reporting and auditing experience. Proficient in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, David has a range of experience in financial reporting and preparation of various SEC filings, and has focused on researching and applying technical accounting guidance to suit the needs of a business and ensure compliance with new and existing accounting rules, including business combinations, stock-based compensation, lease accounting, and complex financing arrangements. David serves as CFO of a public company in the beverage industry.

David is a graduate of the University of Houston where he earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting and his Masters of Science in Accounting in 2005 and 2006, respectively. David is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas, and is a member in good standing of the AICPA.
